Many Voices

The celtic spirit is alive in Southern Nevada. With the unprecedented growth in Las Vegas and the surrounding areas, our numbers have grown tremendously. We have a wealth of wonderful diverse organizations offering opportunities to get involved, make a difference, and have fun. These organizations are comprised of people who not only share a rich celtic heritage, but a strong sense of our community. They get involved, they volunteer, and they care.

Just what is SNCOCO?

The Southern Nevada Coalition of Celtic Organizations is simply about harnessing the energy of these many voices. By sharing information and building strong relationships, we can insure that the voice of the Southern Nevada Celtic Community is heard loud and clear.

One Spirit

Our numbers are many, as are the opportunities to participate in our community and be noticed. Please join us in our efforts to insure the Southern Nevada Celtic Community has a strong voice.

SNCOCO is an informal coalition with one primary goal, that of developing and maintaining a unified presence through networking and communications between our organizations. Members are asked to share information of interest to the Celtic Community in the form of an email, a phone call, or maybe a newsletter. It is not the intent of SNCOCO to be burdensome with meetings, however a quarterly get-together will keep faces and contacts fresh. Significant or short-notice events can warrant a "call-in" meeting. This is a very small commitment with potentially huge benefits for your group and our community.

Membership

Membership is open to all Celtic themed organizations, organizations that deal in Celtic products and/or owned by persons of Celtic descent, Clans, and Clan Societies. To join, simply send a letter on your organization's letterhead requesting membership. This letter must include Celtic connection and the names of one representative and one alternate that will attend the meetings. Our rules are simple. We ask that you notify us in writing of your interest in joining, your representatives and your Celtic connection. We ask that you share information and treat all members with respect. And finally, that you notify us in writing should you choose to relinquish your membership.

SNCOCO will list your organization, contact information, meeting dates, time and location on our web site. It will be the responsibility of each organization to notify SNCOCO of any changes. We will post your logo if you provide one and we will ask that you join in a reciprocal web site link, if you have a web site.

SNCOCO will provide a logo you may use to denote your affiliation. This will tell the World that you are a part of a whole community in the Southern Nevada area.
